LMLiveMusic blog’s overall aim is to have as many people blogging about music affiliated to the site as possible, so we can form a collective community of bloggers reviewing gigs, bands, events … nattering about music in an opinionated way! here is my music specific blog for example…
This will in turn be linked to the LMLiveMusic one, as in the future will other music bloggers, and then when the website goes live things all linked together via that, with the blog still remaing as the main source of the community.
LMLiveMusic has been scaled back slightly, it’ll now focus on being primarily a hub to promote bands, give them exposure and hopefully further down the line a place for labels to find new bands. I’m going to be working my ass off to get affiliated with some labels, ezines, magazines etc or at the very least make them aware of the site and how it’ll work, and how they can utilise it to find bands, see what people are talking about, who’s becoming hot. Same applies to venues, promoters and then eventually fans. What I’ll be doing in the coming months is building an archive of gig reviews, reviews of bands and all that stuff, recruiting blogers, to have some kind of content to work with as at the moment that is the biggest issue before I can get any semblance of a website together. So yeah, stay tuned…the idea in progress is still going ahead, it’s slower than I would have liked, but things are starting to move forward now and hopefully will start to pick-up pace.
